There will be construction cranes around UF Health Shands Hospital on three different dates during the month of September and traffic will be limited on those specific dates in the designated areas.

From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 12, there will be a crane in the Shands hospital valet circle. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and one-way travel while work is in progress.

From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, there will be a crane by the UF Health Shands Pediatric E.R. entrance. During this time, traffic will be reduced to one lane entering the ambulance/valet drive while the work is in progress. The ambulance drive will remain open and flaggers will assist patients and families arriving by car.

The crane returns to the Shands hospital valet circle at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 and will be there until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27. Again, traffic will be reduced to one lane and one-way travel while work is in progress.
