As the weather cools down and rainy days are few and far between, construction of
the new George T. Harrell, M.D., Medical Education Building continues to make
progress.

Workers continue to hang and finish drywall on the second and third floors and will
soon begin installing ceilings for the classrooms. Miscellaneous steel work for
surgery lights and patient lifts is still in progress, and bathrooms are ready to be
tiled. Exterior windows are expected in early November.
