The UF College of Medicine’s new George T. Harrell, M.D., Medical Education Building continues to take shape.

Steel erection has been completed and interior concrete work follows close behind, while the process of laying exterior concrete blocks is in full swing and should wrap up soon.

The building’s topping out ceremony — a construction tradition which marks the placement of the last piece of structural steel — is also coming up in the next few weeks.
