UF Health North construction tops off

UF Health Jacksonville held a beam signing ceremony in May to mark the installation of the final beam in the UF Health North tower expansion. Board members, medical staff, administrators and employees signed the ceremonial beam that will be used in the highest point of the tower.

The UF Health Shands Emergency Center — Kanapaha will be a 911-receiving facility, offering 24/7 service to patients. The center will feature 10 exam rooms, one trauma room and the full complement of diagnostic lab and radiology equipment needed to treat emergency patients.
