A massive new generator that will provide uninterrupted electrical power to facilities on the south side of the University of Florida Health medical complex is scheduled to arrive Wednesday (Aug. 24).
Built by UF Health Shands Facilities teams with input from staff, the spaces helped shape the design of patient rooms in the UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital and UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital.
UF Health’s fourth pediatric primary care facility in the Gainesville areas recently opened at Tioga Town Center.
The east elevators that serve UF Health Shands Hospital and UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital are undergoing extensive renovations.
